School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (SASLP), Pune


The School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology was established in 2006 with an aim to develop manpower in the field of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and to provide rehabilitation services to individuals with speech-language, cognitive communication and Swallowing disorders and/or hearing, vestibular disorders. Institute also conducts research, outreach programs for assessment & rehabilitation of needy along with interdisciplinary team members, NGO’s & volunteers as per the best practices within vast scope of ASLP.

Audiology and Speech Language Pathology is an upcoming field in allied health sciences. The Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists are in demand as there are very few colleges in India that provide the educational facilities in this field. Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) decided to fulfill this long-standing deficiency in Western Maharashtra by starting a School of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology in this education capital, the city of Pune under the medical faculty in August 2006. The School is located at the Dhankawadi Campus of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University).
